Join us on Wednesday, 17 June for one of our favourite fixtures on the Waikato Thoroughbred Racing calendar – the annual Cambridge Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Raceday.
Now in its sixth year, this special race meeting brings together the racing community in support of a cause that makes a genuine difference to local lives. In 2025, the event raised nearly $25,000 for Cambridge RDA, and we're aiming to go even bigger in 2026.
Supported by the much-loved Marvellous Monty and the dedicated Cambridge RDA team, the day combines exciting live racing with fundraising activities, community spirit, and plenty of smiles. Funds raised help Cambridge RDA continue delivering life-changing equine-assisted programmes, while ensuring their horses and facilities remain in top condition.
Enjoy an afternoon trackside with thrilling racing, hospitality, and the opportunity to support a fantastic local charity. Gates open from 10:30am, with the first race at 12:00pm. A gold coin donation on entry is encouraged, with all contributions helping Cambridge RDA continue its invaluable work.
Whether you're a racing enthusiast, a supporter of Cambridge RDA, or simply looking for a great midweek outing, we invite you to join us for a memorable day at the races.
If you'd like to make an afternoon of it, there are limited hospitality tickets available for $50pp including lunch, a beverage voucher and racebook. A cash bar will be available. Contact the Club to book.
