SAINT BATHENS caught the eye when preparing for Te Rapa this weekend. 

Working on the front sand:

SAINT BATHENS although not fully extended travelled well throughout 1000m timed in 1.8.1, quickening over the concluding 600m in 39.9.

He ran third in an open 800m trial at Pukekohe last month and looks ready to race well fresh. 

RICHARD AND I is coming to hand nicely.  He strode comfortably from the 1000m in 1.10 .5 the final 600m in 42.

ALADDIN SANE was given easy work over 600m run in 43.

VIRGO VIVA and ACCENTUATE remained together throughout an effortless 600m in 44.2.

ZANZABAR and MILANESE finished 1000m on terms in 1.11 home in 41.2.

THE BAY SWEY worked in from the 800m in 57.4 and 41.9.

PRIVY GARDEN ran a solo 1200m in 1.24 sprinting the last 600m in 39.8.

On the back sand: 

POETIC JUSTICE started at three quarter pace from the 1000m sprinting the concluding 600m in 39.3. 

MALDINI was sent a similar task coming from the 600m in 39.6.

HEPHAESTUS left 1400m behind in 1.37, quickening from the 600m in 38.9.

ASHOKA completed the final 600m of 800m in 40.

BARBUTA ran 400m in 29.2. 

Working on the poly track: 

DANGEROUS LIASON completed 1000m in 1.6.8 sprinting the last 600m in 37.1. 

WITZ END worked nicely over 1200m coming from the 600m in 36. 9.

AGERA and DELZ ABEEL completed their 1000m in 1.6 home in 36.6 

ZIGGY STARDUST cut a solo 1000m out in 1.7.3 the concluding 600m in 37.

NATURE RESERVE had APPROACHING for a mate over 1000m the final 600m in 37.5.

NO 3 grass(slow):

BASSOROC was sent 1100m coming from the 600m in 40.

HULLA BEAT strode 1400m the 1200m in 1.27 home in 41.2. 

AWATERE and ROEDERER were together throughout 1200m completing the final 600m in 39.6. 

BALLISTIC MISS worked over 1400m the final 1000m in 1.10 the concluding 600m in 39.3
