Cambridge Trackwork Report 03.09.26

The Proisir Plate runners from the Stephen Marsh stable looked in good order as they countdown to their weekend assignment, with Well Written completing her work in a quiet 44.0, while Media World ran home in 43.9 and fellow contender Tardelli recorded 44.3. All three look ready to make their presence felt on Saturday.

Also from the Marsh stable, Group Three Sunline Vase runner Miss Janet looked in great order, stopping the clock in 43.7. Well-named Satono Aladdin filly Genie completed her final preparations for Saturday’s Rich Hill Stud 3YO 1400m, working home in 44.7.

Other Marsh runners included Mulan Ardeche (Ellerslie R2) in 45.9, Kahului (R5) 44.2, Erin Go Bragh (R8) 44.1, Oberon (R8) 45.1, and Los Salsero (R3) 46.4.

Ben and Ryan Foote produced Drommy and Card Shark, with the pair matching strides to run home in 41.5. Drommy looks ready to make his presence felt at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Andrew Forsman had a quieter morning of gallops, with Chilling Out making a good impression when galloping home in a slick 38.4. Hard Roca recorded 39.9, Vanilla Storm 40.4, Vanilla Ice 40.3, Velco 40.3, and Awaroa Bay 39.8.

From the Tony Pike stable, Grocer’s Girl looks set for her weekend assignment in Race 1 at Ellerslie, working home in a nicely held 41.9. Hervey Bay, another Saturday runner who lines up in Race 5, the Maat 1200, looked in fantastic order working home on the synthetic track in a quiet 42.0. High Country (R10) also worked on the synthetic, stopping the clock in 42.4.

Other Pike runners galloping at Cambridge included Shirase 41.1, Astoria Brooke 39.8, while Justice For All and Taka Star matched strides to run home in 41.9. Storm Font recorded 40.4, Quantum Elixr and Double Edged combined to run home in 39.8, Dragons Gift and The Sancy finished in 40.8, while Open Country and Succeszor worked together to record 41.7.
