Cambridge Trackwork Report

Waikato Stud Foxbridge Plate runners from the Stephen Marsh stable impressed galloping on a soft to heavy grass this morning, with Tardelli stopping the clock at 39.8 and Media World running home in 40.1. Both horses look in fantastic order ahead of their weekend assignments.

Others from the Marsh stable galloping on the grass included recent trial winner Shambo Jack, who worked home in 40.2, and Genie, who looked good running home in 40.4. Working on the synthetic track, Oberon pleased with a solid 40.0 for his final 600 metres.

Tony Pike had a strong team out on the grass this morning, headed by Foxbridge Plate contender Churchillian, who looks in terrific order as she prepares for Saturday's feature after running home in 39.9. Eluid looked good in 40.1, while Cannon Hill also returned 40.1. Grocers Girl, last seen finishing second in the Listed Champagne Stakes, worked home in 39.8, while Deep Pursuit cruised through the line in 40.4.

Double Edged matched strides with Dorado, the pair returning 40.6, while The Sancy and Cosmic Pursuit also worked together in 40.6. Quantum Elixer and Quantum Dragon came home together in 40.1. On the polytrack, Maldini impressed with 39.9, while Argo was kept to a quiet 41.9.

Working on the back sand, the James and Wellwood stable produced several impressive gallops. Six-time winner Grinzinger Moon caught the eye with 38.8, while Pierro mare Arabian Songbird looked in good order, recording 39.1. Last-start Listed winner Excite also returned 38.8, and recent trial winner Pearling Crown, a son of Contributer, looked outstanding, stopping the clock at a slick 37.9.

Roccadonna also worked well, running home in 40.1.

Shane Crawford presented Jamaican Boy and Super Star Patch, with the pair working together and returning 42.0 for their final 600 metres.
