Astoria Brooke who lines up on Saturday at Te Rapa in the UBP Te Awamutu Cup over the mile looked good this morning joining stablemate Cape Reinga, the pair worked home in a cool 41.3. Astoria Brooke looks a good light weight chance.

3yo Swiss Prince was only asked for easy work ahead of his Saturday assignment at Te Rapa completing his last 600 in 44.2.

Tale Of The Gypsy who has a 10% share available on Gavelhouse lines up on Saturday in the Irwin’s Truck & Bus 1200m, looked in good order returning 43.7 for her last 600m. Race rival Oberon also from the Marsh stable worked home in 44.7.

Others from the Stephen Marsh stable that were out galloping this morning included Imperial Empress who races in the rating 75 1400m on Saturday completed her last 600m in 44.2, while race rival Dramatic Miss finished her last 600m in 43.8.

Another Floozie completed her last 600m in 44.9.

Starlit Express another in race 4 on Saturday at Te Rapa returned 43.1.

Other Tony Pike runners to be seen out galloping this morning included Pellargo who joined stable mate Cadaques the pair returning a quiet 43 for the 600m.  Ashoka and Ellendale completed their work together in 42.3 while Deep Pursuit and Pink Gin paired up working home in 41.9 for the last 600m.

Shane Crawford let Bonnard stride out comfortably in 44.2 while another from his stable La Florida worked home in 41.4.

The Andrew Forsman stable was out in force this morning with a big number of his team out galloping.  Those to be recorded were last start winner Feint To East who lines up on Sunday at Te Aroha returned 41.9 for the last 600m. Another last start winner from the same stable Orson Stone looked good finishing his last 600m in 39.9. Rhana returned 39.7. Desert Jewel looked good working home in 40.1.

The promising Rambling On looks to be coming up nicely finishing off his work in 40.9. Hard Roca completed his last 600m in 41.2. The Last Alliance worked home in 41.4.

Lassified strode out the last 600m in 41.9. While Zippidy cruised home in 42.9.

Berry Brown looked good working home in a slick 39.6, while Boss Voss who also returned a slick time stopping the cloak in 39.8.

Baia Serena was timed for the last 600m in 39.9. Strathisla returned 40.6. Pocket Money cruised home in 40.3.

Just Cruzin did just that and cruised home in 41.9. To complete the morning workings was Artissimo who returned 41.9 for the closing 600m.
