Galloping on the newly opened soft 6 front grass saw a bold gallop from Paul McGlade Taumarunui Gold Cup entrant Pacifico, the Andrew Forsman trained galloper joined stablemate Septima with the pair matching strides working home in 39.9.

Other runners from the Forsman team galloping on the grass, Rambling On and Black Diamond, the pair returned 1.07.88 for the 1000m and 39.6 for the last 600m.

The well performed Wootton Bassett 3yo Quondo who has been a winner on his last 2 occasions joined stablemate Feint To East running their last 600m in 40.1, while Turn Me Loose fillies Zippidy and Pocket Money returned 55.9 for the 800m last 600m in 39.9.

The last two out galloping on the grass came from the Tony Pike stable with Saturday’s Phils Electrical & Gipsy Caravans Ryder Stakes Entrant Back Of The Bus who was joined by stablemate Sugar Daddy the paired returned 39.7 for the last 600m.

Out on the back Grass Omalish a filly my Embellish trained by Stephen Marsh finished off her work in 42.1.

Others from the Marsh stable out on the back sand, Another Floozie recorded 42.1 for the 600m. Hebridean Way home in 41. Kahului who has  only one race day start for a solid 2nd placing looked good finishing off his work in 40.5. Swiss Prince strode out the last 600m in 40.7.  Another 1st start place getter Paddy Murphy looked good working home in 41.6. Confectionist a consistent performer by Written By worked home in 43.1. Mulan Ardeche worked from the 1000m coming home in 42.3.

Also, out on the back sand saw Rio Grande who worked home in 42 for the last 600m. The Sancy and Sacred Pursuit both from the Tony Pike stable ran their last 600m in 43. Also, from the Tony Pike stable Cannon Hill and Ellendale matched strides coming home in 40.9. Song Of Valor and All In Black worked home in 42.7 and Ashoka looked good returning 43.1 for the final 600m.

On the front sand Shane Crawford galloped Jamaican Boy and Super working a round first they set off from the 1000m working home in a quiet 44.9, Hollaback Girl also from the Crawford stable returned 43 for the last 600m.

Stephen Marsh had Fast Deel Done return 44.9. Tip Top 43.3 and Oberon 41.7 for their last 600m.

Morning Cocoa from the Andrew Forsman stable returned 41.7 for the last 600m. Hard Roca looked good working home in 39. Pairing up Strathisla and Artissimo strode home in 40.9..0 Baia Serena and Boss Voss returned 47.7 for the 600m while Lassified and Rheena worked home in 40.9.
