Quondo looks set to continue his winning way race 2,  Aongatete-Ject 1200m at Tauranga on Saturday, a last start winner at Matamata, Quondo looks to be going the right way, joining stablemate The Weekend also a Tauranga contender, the pair galloped on Wednesday on a soft grass track clocking 54 for the 800m and cut 38.3 for their last 600m.

Thursday gallops to be seen included Sexy And I Moet who stopped the clock at 42.

Those to be out galloping on the poly track included By Default who paired up with stablemate Platinum Patch the pair returning 39.9 for the 600m.

Misstillymara went easy returning 43.4 for the 600m.

Tony Pike had a good few step out on the poly this morning which included Saturday runners, Starlit Express returned 43.2. Overdrawn who contests the race 7 Super Liquor Greerton 1400 at Tauranga worked home in an easy 42.9.

Team Wealleans Tauranga Classic runner’s Honey Badger strode a comfortable 42.2, while Churchillian joined race rival Thooza with the pair working home in 42.6 and Astoria Brooke who worked home in a nice 42.4

Others to gallop from the Tony Pike stable included Irish Flute who strolled home in 43.4. In The Vineyard Looked good working home in 41.9, Taka Star cruised home in 42.6 and Tenacious Pursuit completed the last 600m in 42.1
